    Offshore Drone Logistics Optimization and Corporate Feasibility

    Drones can help offshore logistics to improve safety, increase production efficiency, and reduce CO2 emissions. Drones will also be used in the development of new energy solutions on offshore stations. The aim is to see new logistics and support infrastructure, which will complement what we now have on ships and helicopters. Johan Castberg FPSO requires offshore drone logistics operations and for that purpose literature review on the history and types of drones is done to establish a multi-criteria system. Based on that multi-criteria system a drone fleet with different ranges and payload capacities is established. Keeping an eye on the advanced and upcoming drone technologies that can boost the use of drones in offshore logistics different power sources are discussed. To fulfill the objectives of offshore drone logistics in a pre-operational and operational phase different challenges have been discussed in this thesis project that includes type of logistics model in the supply chain, loading and unloading mechanisms with human safety and Environmental parameters, Operational and maintenance regime, and feasibility analysis of the implementation of drone logistics. All these pre-operational and operational phase challenges are discussed in detail and solutions to different challenges are proposed

    Cyber Security is one of the most arising disciplines in our modern society. We work on Cybersecurity domain and in this the topic we chose is Cyber Security Ontologies. In this we gather all latest and previous ontologies and compare them on the basis of different analyzing factors to get best of them. Reason to select this topic is to assemble different ontologies from different era of time. Because, researches that included in this SLR is mostly studied single ontology. If any researcher wants to study ontologies, he has to study every single ontology and select which one is best for his research. So, we assemble different types of ontology and compare them against each other to get best of them. A total 24 papers between years 2010-2020 are carefully selected through systematic process and classified accordingly.     Innovative Method for Unsupervised Voice Activity Detection and Classification of Audio Segments

    An accurate and noise-robust voice activity detection (VAD) system can be widely used for emerging speech technologies in the fields of audio forensics, wireless communication, and speech recognition. However, in real-life application, the sufficient amount of data or human-annotated data to train such a system may not be available. Therefore, a supervised system for VAD cannot be used in such situations. In this paper, an unsupervised method for VAD is proposed to label the segments of speech-presence and speech-absence in an audio. To make the proposed method efficient and computationally fast, it is implemented by using long-term features that are computed by using the Katz algorithm of fractal dimension estimation. Two databases of different languages are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The first is Texas Instruments Massachusetts Institute of Technology (TIMIT) database, and the second is the King Saud University (KSU) Arabic speech database. The language of TIMIT is English, while the language of the KSU speech database is Arabic. TIMIT is recorded in only one environment, whereas the KSU speech database is recorded in distinct environments using various recording systems that contain sound cards of different qualities and models. The evaluation of the proposed method suggested that it labels voiced and unvoiced segments reliably in both clean and noisy audio

    Role of Demographic in Gratitude to Reduce Job Related Sress Among School Teachers

    Gratitude is one of the robust dimensions of positive psychology that strengthens a person's character. Gratitude can motivate individuals to have a firm belief in God and to help in coping with stress and transmit a supportive social connection in society. The current study aims to determine the role of demographics variables in gratitude and how gratitude plays a role in reducing stress of school teachers. It was a quantitative study; simple random sampling was used to collect the data. The sample of the study comprised 200 participants of school teachers from Sialkot and Multan district. Three instruments were used to collect the data; demographic sheet, the gratitude questionnaire, and the job stress scale, respectively. Data were analyzed through SPSS 2.1v. Descriptive analysis and chi-square analysis were used on the gathered data. Our findings revealed that gratitude has a significant association with demographics. The majority of the sample was Muslims (97.5%), and 36.1% of participants were suffering in job-related stress, and the situation was alarming 20.9% of the respondents need to psycho-therapeutic treatment. Job-status had a significant association with gratitude. 67.1% of the participants were highly educated (Master). The education reforms sector in Pakistan should introduce the Psychotherapeutic session for the counseling of the teachers. A screening kit will be provided in schools as lack of gratitude leads to stress. Govt. of Pakistan started the initiative program ‘Reading of Quran with translation’ that brings an optimistic change in teachers' thought-changing pattern.     A Practical Approach: Design and Implementation of a Healthcare Software for Screening of Dysphonic Patients

    Risk management in the development of medical software and devices is one of the most crucial processes in ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment of disease. The consequences of wrong decisions that happen in our daily life might be unembellished. However, wrong decisions in healthcare based on unreliable evidence due to erroneous software could result in loss of life. Dysphonic patients suffering from various vocal fold disorders might have a threat of life due to inaccurate diagnosis. Some voice disorders, such as keratosis, are precancerous, and can become cancerous in cases that involve inaccurate diagnosis due to software failure. The objective of this paper is to design and implement a healthcare software for the detection of voice disorders in nonperiodic speech signals. Occurrences of potential risks during the design and development of the proposed software are taken into account to avoid failure. The software is implemented by applying the local binary pattern (LBP) operator on the textures of nonperiodic signals. The textures are obtained through the recurrence plot. The LBP operator computes the histograms for normal persons and dysphonic patients, and these histograms are used with the support vector machine for the automatic classification of dysphonic patients. The software is evaluated and tested by using the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary voice disorder database. The success rate of the proposed healthcare system is 97.73% ± 1.2, and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve is 0.98 ± 0. The performance of the proposed healthcare system is much better than the existing commercial software used for screening dysphonic patients

    A COMPARISON OF PACING STRATEGY BETWEEN INTERNATIONAL AND PAKISTANI 100-M SWIMMERS

    The purpose of this study was to determine, based on the stroking time recorded in a 100-m swimming competition, whether elite international 100-m swimmers have the same pacing strategy as the Pakistani swimmers or not. Based on a video data, three different levels of performance were analyzed i.e. Finalists (G1, n=32) from the European Championship, 2012; Medalists (G2, n=12) and Non-medalists (G3, n=20) from the Pakistan National Swimming Championship, 2014. For the current analysis each stroking distance was divided into two sections (i.e. before and after the 25m mark). The average speed of each section (ST1, ST2, ST3 and ST4) was quantified in order to depict pacing strategy. Results showed even-positive pacing (1.75 ± 0.17 m/s) towards the end of the race in G1; whereas, variable speed pacing was observed in both G2 (1.42 ± 0.26 m/s) and G3 (1.21 ± 0.28 m/s). Based on these findings it is proposed to encourage an efficient pace strategy for 100-m swimmers

    Effect of Individualized vs Standard Blood Pressure Management Strategies on Postoperative Organ Dysfunction Among High-Risk Patients Undergoing Major Surgery

    Objective: To determine the effect of individualized blood pressure management targeted upon the physiology of individual patient could help in decreasing the risk postoperative organ dysfunction.  Methodology It was a randomized trial carried out in department of general medicine from March 2016 to March 2017. An approval from Ethics committee was taken. An informed consent in the form of a written document was taken from every patient. Data was analyzed by using SPSS version 24. Student t-test and χ2 test that was unadjusted was performed for the analysis of primary outcome. P value ≤ 0.05 was considered as significant. Results: in the Individualized group, Primary composite outcome was noted as (36.7%) n=55. Acute kidney injury according to RIFLE criteria; Risk, injury and failure was observed as (17.3%) n=26, (9.3%) n=14 and (6%) n=9 respectively. Use of renal replacement therapy was noted as (8%) n=12. Acute heart failure occurred in (6%) n=9. respectively. For Standard treatment group, Primary composite outcome was noted as (48.7%) n=73. Use of renal replacement therapy was noted as (6.7%) n=10. Acute heart failure occurred in (1.3%) n=2. Need for noninvasive or invasive ventilation and sepsis was noted as (30.7%) n=46 and (18%) n=27 respectively. Conclusion: High Postoperative risk patients having major abdominal surgery, the mode of management directed towards the individual blood pressure as compared to standard mode of management proves to be fruitful in decreasing the risk for postoperative organ dysfunction.
